The Cellar House Farm is a Colonial-era farm situated on a high bank overlooking the wild and scenic Pocomoke River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Located between the towns of Pocomoke and Snow Hill, just 20 minutes from Salisbury and 45 minutes from Ocean City. It’s the perfect place for your next wedding, event, or celebration. The 400-acre farm’s outdoor spaces afford a variety of event options.
The Cellar House Farm features our namesake colonial manor house with its distinctive “Flemish Bond” Brick gables surrounded by approximately 20 acres of lawns overlooking the beautiful Pocomoke River. Entrance to the farm is our 1-mile long lane through meadows, forest, and agriculture fields. The extensive lawn areas afford multiple options for hosting events with river, house, pond, lagoon, arbor, gazebos, and a fire pit as features to work with.

Cellar House Farm is accepting reservations for exclusive weekend events. Whether you’re planning a wedding, private celebration, or corporate gathering, our riverside venue offers the perfect blend of privacy, natural beauty, historical significance, and an ideal event setting.

Our venue is an outdoor space with plenty of lawn area for various tent sizes and the property offers many unique features to work with in creating your perfect event experience. We require portable restroom facilities and tent reservations adequate for the events size in preparation for any potential inclement weather which we can organize with our partners. The Farm has deep water boat access and a boat ramp located just up river at Milburn Landing State Park. We offer adequate parking and golf cart support, a professional sound system (Mic and speakers), and an event day attendant.
BOOKING INQUIRIES AND SITE VISIT GUIDELINES
Please be aware that you must be in contract with either a full-service event planner, wedding planner, or caterer in order to book and hold an event at the Cellar House Farm.

LOCAL VENDERS
We want your wedding or event to be as seamless and successful as possible. We have curated a list of local venders. Event vendors will be permitted to work on the property on a case by case basis after a site visit with our event manager. Appropriate liability insurance will be required by venue management.

VENDOR LOAD-IN & LOUD-OUT
Vendors are allowed to arrive at the venue for delivery and setup on the day prior to the event. Vendors and the participants are allowed to arrive at the venue at 8:00AM or later the day of the event. This window must be approved by venue management 30 days prior to the event. Vendors must have all items removed off the property by 5:00PM the following day unless otherwise agreed upon in the formal agreement.
